Identify and define what is holding you back!

Over the years we have given power to some of the messages that hold us back. To free yourself, follow these steps:

  1. Identify one word that negatively dominates your self-talk. Not smart, lazy, ugly, lack of confidence, etc
  2. Define what the word means to you.
  3. What feeling does the word generate?
  4. What images or other words do you associate with this word? (can be people or objects)
  5. Reflect how you are using this word to measure others
  6. Go back in time, and reflect on what stories you have created.
  7. What do you need to say or do to let go of that meaning?
  8. What is your new definition of this word?
  9. What is a new belief that empowers you to move forward?
  10. What is the affirmation that you can use to hear, feel and see the new word in your head?
